Bye bye 2024 - You've been quite good!

So, 2024 is almost over... It has been rather a fruitful year for us, in fact. Here are some of our brightest achievements:

Launched English4Work

Our site and VK community are up and running (yes, we should be more active on SM, we know...). Believe it or not, we've been thinking of a Business English project since 2021, but only got to it this year. We hope to keep up the high standards we have set for ourselves and to continue providing high-quality Business English lessons, materials and other forms of content.

Multiple success stories

We've helped more than 15 students boost their English and work-related skills, created and conducted corporate lessons for 2 companies and prepared 6 individuals for upcoming job interviews. And all this within 6 months! It may not seem extremely impressive, but don't forget - we are a small team. We take pride in all our students' accomplishments - every success story counts!

Business English Speaking Workshop

We had our first speaking workshop this year! Thank you to all who turned up, and sorry to the late sign-ups - we only have 5 spots in a mini-group. Remember, to reserve a spot, you must take a FREE consultation before signing up or be an active student of our group or individual programmes.

Personal stories

Claire:
Oh, a wonderful year I'd say! Let's see... we got our puppy in May (Claire had been dreaming about a dog), that's probably the biggest news actually. I had to change my daily routine slightly, but no big deal - it actually gives more motivation to get up in the mornings. What else... my husband and I have been remodeling the kitchen for a while now - still not done but close! And of course, new students who I really like working with.
Chelsea:
Hmm, my 2024 has been alright, nothing special though (but nothing horrible either!). I've been teaching more than before, and I can totally say that one mustn't have more than 25 teaching hours a week. As for my personal news, well, I got a new laptop in July and I love the keyboard and a larger screen helps a lot when opening Zoom together with a PDF. I also take Spanish lessons and have had good progress I think.
Alex:
2024 in a nutshell is a year of change for me. Firstly, we moved to a new apartment - a huge upgrade as now we've got 2 additional rooms and a dedicated workplace (a must when you work at home - trust me!). Work has been stable I reckon, I'm trying to move away from IELTS preparation but I'm still taking several students for Speaking/Writing. Having taught solo for the last 2 years, I also love working with my old colleagues Claire and Chelsea, thanks guys!

What about your 2024? What were some of your most memorable moments?
